Creating short scripts an artform, and at WOFFF we recognise and celebrate that.
We’re always blown away by the complexity that can be demonstrated in just a few short pages, and we’re looking forward to showcasing the talent and creativity needed to tell a compelling story in a short script.

Who can enter?
Anyone!
The competition is for any short drama script that is as yet un-produced.
It must be written by a woman over 50 or have a woman over 50 as the central character.
The prize recognises international talent, but entries must be written in English.

Entries are open until Tuesday 4 July. However, this window may close early if judges receive 50 scripts for consideration ahead of this date.
The standard entry fee is $14, a $2 discount available for Gold Film Freeway members and students can enter for free.
