We’re excited to bring you the 9th edition of the Women Over 50 Film Festival, here’s a short note from our founder Nuala O’Sullivan.
I’m delighted to welcome you to the 9th edition of the Women Over 50 Film Festival.
As in recent years, WOFFF is taking place online globally on Eventive and in-person at our home cinema, Depot, in Lewes, UK.
At WOFFF23 Online, we’re sharing 56 amazing short films, along with an online lecture by Dr Deborah Jermyn from the University of Roehampton called “The Menopause Turn”.
At WOFFF23 at Depot, we’re screening 20 award-winning films as chosen by our jury – plus others specially curated for the day. In our all-female panel event, we’ll hear fresh takes on perimenopause and menopause from experts with valuable stories to tell.
I’d like to extend huge thanks to all the filmmakers who have shared their work with us, to our sponsors and supporters, our volunteers and Board members, and to all our amazing audience members.
